Компетентностный подход на сегодняшний день обретает огромную популярность как в системах формального образования – начиная от школы и заканчивая последипломным образованием и повышением квалификации.
Привлекательность компетентностного подхода заключается в том, что он имеет очень практическую и очень практичную философию и направленность. В его рамках конечная цель всякого обучения состоит в том, чтобы человек освоил такие формы поведения, и приобрел такой набор знаний, умений и личностных характеристик, который позволит ему успешно осуществлять ту деятельность, которой он планирует заниматься, то есть – овладел набором необходимых для этого компетенций.
Иными словами, обучающийся должен не только получить некий массив знаний и отработать совокупность умений – по завершении обучения он должен мочь и хотеть делать то, ради чего все обучение и затевалось. Понятно, что разница между двумя этими итогами огромна.
Итак, компетенции – это не просто знания и умения, это владение такими формами поведения и индивидуальными характеристиками, которые необходимы для успешной деятельности на том или ином поприще. За поведением этим, конечно, стоят и знания, и умения, но не только они. Не менее важное значение имеют личностные черты, установки, ценности, убеждения, эмоции, способность ладить с людьми и самооценка.
Таким образом, в рамках компетентностного подхода образование и обучение становится комплексным, многофакторным. Учащимся передаются не только знания и навыки – и не всякие знания и навыки, а лишь те, которые нужны для развития необходимых компетенций. Ведется также психологическая подготовка, формируются нужные установки, развиваются определенные личностные качества, нарабатываются конкретные алгоритмы эффективной деятельности.
По своей природе компетентностный подход в обучении и образовании является очень целевым. Обучается не просто специалист широкого профиля, а человек, который будет хорошо уметь выполнять совершенно конкретный круг работ. В корпоративном обучении такой способ особенно понятен и целесообразен: сотрудники, которые имеют обширную теоретическую подготовку, но толком не умеют ничего делать, мало кому нужны. А учитывая, что обучение персонала в компаниях ведется с совершенно определенными бизнес-целями, оно и должно быть очень структурированным. Поэтому множество компаний уже считает модели и профили компетенций краеугольным камнем управления персоналом вообще, и системы корпоративного обучения – в частности.
Однако, компетентностный подход может сделать эффективнее и системы формального образования: молодые специалисты, обученные в его рамках, наверняка чувствовали бы себя на рынке труда гораздо увереннее, и легче адаптировались бы в организациях, получив работу.
